Account Settings in EstateMin

Learn how to open Settings in EstateMin and manage firm details, members, matter defaults, client portal branding, content and reminders, questionnaires, and billing.

Settings is where you configure your firm’s details, set defaults for new matters, customize the Client Portal experience, create questionnaires, and manage your account.

⚙️ How do I access Settings?

  1. Click the Settings gear icon at the bottom of the dark icon rail on the far left of EstateMin.

  2. The Settings panel opens next to the rail. Select the page you want to open.

📋 What can I configure?

The Settings panel is organized into two groups. Each item opens its own page.

Firm

  • Firm details: Add your firm’s addresses and upload a firm logo.

  • Members: See the people at your firm in EstateMin, with Active and Inactive tabs. Members includes activated EstateMin members, responsible attorneys on linked matters, and people an administrator adds. Use Add from Clio to add someone from your Clio account.

  • Matter defaults: Set a default matter type, default and other states, default key files for each matter type, and default questionnaires for each matter type.

  • Client portal: Has three pages. Branding sets the colors, font, and firm logo of the Client Portal. Content lets you customize the introduction text for each step and add your own message to the Get Started step, for each matter type. Both have a live preview. Reminders sets how often reminder emails are sent to clients, and to prospective clients if your firm uses Leads, and when they stop.

  • Questionnaires: Create reusable questionnaires for your client portals and manage your templates, drafts, and retired questionnaires.
